How can I reach Le Refuge at an altitude of 1,900 metres?
Take the Ratier gondola, then continue on skis or on foot from the top of the Luc Alphand piste. Access is only possible during gondola operating hours; it closes at 4:30 p.m. There is no access by car. The address is Plateau de Ratier, 05330 Saint-Chaffrey.
How many rooms does Le Refuge have and how many guests can they accommodate?
Le Refuge has 11 rooms across three floors. The Nid and Cabane Rooms accommodate 2 guests; the Cocon and Première Loge Rooms accommodate 2 or 3; the Tribu Room accommodates 4 to 5; and the Dormitory Room accommodates 4.
Is the bar at Le Refuge open to day visitors?
Yes. The mountain bar on the ground floor of Le Refuge is open to everyone, with sun loungers on the terrace facing the slopes. Upstairs, a courtesy bar and lounge are reserved for guests staying at Le Refuge.
Can Le Refuge be booked exclusively for a private event?
